DTP Blog 9 Thoughts

Hello, wonderful people! I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. I was blessed to spend time with family and friends. My husband was awesome and gave me a new laptop with a lighted keyboard. He knows I like to write in the dark, so he is either telling me to get back to work or stay out of his hair. (haha) I did start working on a new book because of it. I hope to publish a couple of books I have been working on by the end of 2017.

I am more than thrilled with the responses I have received about the third book. It’s fun to read messages from readers asking me to confirm who they think is responsible for Danni’s assault. I think some readers have also expressed they don’t dislike Collin quite so much. I am anxious for all of you to read book four because it’s from Collin and Danni’s perspective. He has more of a voice in the story, and you get to know his way of thinking as well. It was especially fun to write the scenes between him and Daniel. Typical brothers and Daniel just being the goof he always is.

I have been amazed how I just released the third book, but book one sales have doubled. I am pretty sure I have all of you, fantastic readers, to thank for that as you have suggested it to others and left reviews on Amazon. Maybe someday we will see the series as a show or movie. (One can dream.) I also released my Pinterest board with my fantasy cast. It has a following, and I am happy about it. However, I am super curious what you think about it. So, I am going to have a little contest. If you can correctly identify three characters, I will send you a mouse pad. Make sure you post your comments here on my website. If you don’t see them as the ones I picked, let me know who you think. I like to compare the different images we all imagine for characters.
