An overview of her history and a word on the Author by the Author.

L.T. Varner is an Author navigating her way through the world of writing and self-publishing as she writes and does everything that goes along with it.  It started as a hobby after becoming bored with predictable and typical television and books. It quickly turned into an obsession.

With every new hobby comes the learning curve and figuring out your voice and what type of writer you become. L.T. writes about believable stories that are anything but predictable. She prefers to keep you guessing until the very last page. She leans toward romance with suspense sprinkled in but is currently dabbling into different genres. As she says, “I write the stories that I would want to watch.”

From the Author

Let me tell you a few things about myself. Not much, but enough. I have lived in a small town in Nebraska my whole life. I prefer small-town life and the simple life it makes possible for me. I enjoy helping other authors with all the things I have learned over the years of writing and self-publishing on my own.

Attention isn’t my thing, but I am learning to deal with it. I am an introvert so putting myself in the spotlight is difficult for me. I prefer to be alone and write as storylines develop in my head. I refer to myself as an accidental writer because it is not something I ever thought I would do. Now that I have started, I can’t stop! I never intended the Danni to Pieces series to ever be read by anyone else, but things surprise me over time.

I love to write a story, but talking about myself is a struggle. I am an introvert and wouldn’t leave my house if I didn’t have to. I enjoy writing and learning as much as I can about every single process that goes into publishing a book. In the DTP series, Danni’s thoughts and emotional responses were influenced by my reactions. Not all, but a few. Talking about feelings is not something I like to do. I lean toward inappropriate language, sarcastic remarks, and dirty thoughts. Keeps things more interesting that way. (I hope it stays that way.)

Last but not least, another interest I have is to support other authors and children that have an interest in writing. Without them, I think the world would become a lot dimmer. Imagination is the most intriguing trait a person can have. I encourage it in any way I can. Just write!

Thank you for your interest, your support, and your kind words. Happily, I am in the process of writing a new series that runs alongside the DTP books with new characters. I have no idea when it will be finished (hopefully soon).  Follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for updates and events as well.
